After spending years conducting “creative interventions” with refugee youth, Michigan native Biba Sheikh returns to Detroit with her inaugural exhibition Mitli Mitlak (Like You, Like Me), which will be on display until 2019.
The Arab American and Chaldean Council (ACC), a premier nonprofit human service organization serving southeast Michigan, will honor local leaders at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. A general reception will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the program and dinner at 7 p.m.
